Open reading community at Helsinge Library with a focus on reading aloud, conversation and socializing The reading community in Helsinge is led by our volunteer reading guide Pia, who will read selected fiction aloud and create time and space for conversation about the texts. It requires no preparation from the participants to join, and the conversation is about the topics and thoughts that immediately arise when Pia reads aloud. We read and talk together for about 1.5 hours. The event is open to everyone and the number of participants may vary from time to time. Meet new people Participating in reading communities has become very popular, and one of the reasons for this success is that anyone, regardless of background, can join in. The more diverse the participants, the more exciting the meetings usually become. Join an inclusive community and be introduced to both exciting literature and new acquaintances.
