The rotten banana is an informal name for the parts of Denmark that lie outside the big cities and growth areas - places that are often associated with depopulation, fewer opportunities and the feeling of being forgotten. Here, people live on the outskirts of both geography and society's attention. For this event, we present literature that takes place along the rotten banana: stories from the province and the peripheral areas, where living conditions, dreams and conflicts look different than in the center - but where there is still hope, community and strongstories. - Date: 6 October 2026 - Time: 19:00–20:30 - Venue: Vejen Bibliotekerne - Address: Vestergade 2, Vejen, Denmark - Admission: Free
