The theme of this edition is Soil | Soul For many African makers, land is more than a physical place. It is the soil of ancestors, a source of identity, memory, and cultural heritage. In their performances, they explore the relationship between land, ancestry, and community, and ask questions about what we carry with us from the past and pass on to future generations. Afrovibes Festival presents: From an African perspective, they give artistic form to urgent questions at play worldwide: regarding identity, belonging, history, and the future. Stories and perspectives that often remain underexposed are given a platform through distinctive and thought-provoking performances.
