Get up close to the world of bomb disposal experts On September 29th, Risskov Library will be visited by Senior Sergeant Michael T. from the Engineer Regiment in Skive. Michael has worked in the Army's EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) unit for 17 years - a specialized unit that defuses bombs, ammunition and other explosive devices. He has also been deployed twice to both Afghanistan and Iraq, and once to the Baltics. In the lecture, Michael shares his personal experiences from the broadcasts and talks about the work as a bomb disposal expert - from the unit's establishment and development to the tasks it solves in Denmark and internationally today.
