In 2025, author Katrine Marie Guldager received the Tårnby Municipality Culture Prize. Meet her and hear her talk about her extensive writing. Katrine Marie Guldager is one of the most distinctive voices in Danish literature. She has written novels, poems, short stories and children's books and is particularly known for her ability to create complex characters that reflect the longings, mistakes and hopes of modern man. Common to her books is the human nerve and the constant investigation of what responsibility, freedom and love mean in a complex world. This evening you can hear her talk about her writing, which includes the novel series Køge-krøniken, which depicts the life of a Danish family over 50 years. The series cemented her position as one of the most widely read and recognized authors in Denmark.
