Farmer and manager at Andelsgaarde, Marie Junker Boesen, talks about the importance of small farms in a time when the role and consequences of agriculture for nature, groundwater and production animals are being debated more intensely than ever. In this lecture, Marie Junker Boesen will focus on the question: What role can small farms play in the landscape of the future, and can they be part of the solutions to some of the challenges facing modern agriculture? The lecture examines the value of small farms - not as nostalgic relics from a bygone era, but as living, innovative and relevant actors in a modern society.
