Take a seat in the Forest Pavilion's charming dance hall with its high ceilings and inviting atmosphere, where a sumptuous cake table is ready to pamper both your eyes and taste buds. This afternoon you are invited on a delicious journey through the cultural history of cakes - from the simple fat cakes of the Middle Ages to the elegant and airy whipped cream creations of the 20th century. Along the way, you will be served sweet anecdotes about the many shapes, flavors and ingredients that have shaped cake traditions through the centuries. All cakes are baked according to original recipes in collaboration with master baker Marc Pabst from Maribo. The ticket also includes access to The Old Houses.
