Lecture: A conversation for relatives of people with mental illness

Better psychiatry invites you to the lecture evening. Ervin Valentin, relatives and Jonas Wridt, specialist psychologist in psychiatry Ervin and Jonas met each other in psychiatry and have had many conversations about being relatives and the encounter with the psychiatric system. Ervin was the initiator of UNIK, which is a follow-up offer for young people who have been in psychiatry (OPUS), and Jonas was the department head specialist psychologist of the OPUS offer. Based on their conversations, they have learned that it makes sense to create a conversation-based forum where the issues that relatives are overwhelmed by are addressed. They believe it is important to talk openly about the experiences and experiences that come with encountering the psychiatric system as relatives. They are both passionate about doing something about and for the conditions for relatives of people with mental illnesses. The lecture is based on a conversation between Ervin and Jonas, who discuss their experiences as relatives.
