The straight road - Kim Larsen and Christianity - a song lecture w/ Helle Erdmann Frantzen and Jost van Ingen When Kim Larsen was once asked where his inspiration came from, he pointed to God without hesitation; and on another occasion he said that it was the Holy Spirit who moved him when he sat at night composing his songs. He also interwoven words such as grace, mercy, prayer, heaven and angels into his poetry - just as many of his songs contain references to the Bible and the Danish hymnal treasury. We will hear about Kim Larsen's relationship with Christianity, delve into those of his songs that are characterized by his Christian attitude to life - and of course we will sing together a selection of his songs from the high school songbook. - Date: 6 October 2026 - Time: 14:00–16:00 - Venue: Kirkebakkehuset - Address: Kirkebakken 2, Juelsminde, Denmark
