Join us for a unique opportunity to hear about the Rebild Society. We will see the secretariat in 'Hyldgaardsminde', Rebild, and hear about its tasks. The event continues at Museum Rebild, where we will see artifacts from the original Blokhus Museum Join us for a unique opportunity to hear Rebildselskabet's president Jørgen Bech Madsen and secretary general Mette Bugge talk about Rebildselskabet's tasks, efforts, collaborations and vision for the future. They will talk about the important local roots in connection with holding Rebildfester. The Rebild Society, also known as the 'Danish-American Friendship Association', opens its doors to participants in the secretariat in 'Hyldgaardsminde' in Rebild, where we will see the premises. After 'Hyldgaardsminde', the event continues at Museum Rebild. Here, museum director Niels Jørn Østergaard will show us artifacts from the original Blokhus Museum in the hills, with stories about the emigration from Denmark to the USA.
