Get help with what's broken At the Repair Café you will meet volunteers who are happy to help you repair things you would otherwise have thrown away. For example, it could be a lamp with a faulty cord, a kitchen machine that has broken down, or clothes with wear or holes. You don't need to sign up... stop by the library and bring what you'd like to see. About the Repair Café at Hvidovre Main Library On the third Saturday of every month (except during holidays), we are ready with screwdrivers, sewing supplies and good humor to help you bring your broken things back to life. If spare parts are needed, we will be happy to advise you. The help is completely free!... The purpose of the Repair Café is to end the throw-away culture and focus on recycling and sustainability.
