In this powerful and personal lecture, Christian Mørk talks about his upbringing in a remarkable artistic family with his biological parents, Susse Wold and Erik Mørk, and his stepfather, Bent Mejding. The lecture provides an honest insight into a childhood marked by great emotions and complex relationships - including a difficult relationship with a father who left the family to live openly as a homosexual, and a stepfather who stepped in as an important support. Christian Mørk talks about the feeling of being left out, about taking responsibility too early and about the silence that can arise in families. At the same time, it is a life-affirming story about love, reconciliation and the courage to reach out before it is too late. With reflection and presence, he shares his experiences of finding a foothold - even when the family is falling apart.
