Petersen, the man behind Hymns from Nineveh, plays solo in Christianskirken, Fredericia Since his debut album in 2011, which was named Album of the Year in GAFFA, he has thrilled critics and won the hearts of a growing audience He first made his mark with his four albums of English-language anthems and big P 3 hits like Anywhere with You and A Kid on the Beach When he switched to writing in his native language in 2020 with the corona lockdown album Sindets Asyl and later the full-year Christmas album Julekassen, Petersen showed that he also mastered the Danish language like few others with his sensitive, existential pop songs like Stop Loss, Chestnuts and Ray Tear Drop.
