Brain and technology - who controls whom? You know it well. It's 9:15 p.m. Notifications are buzzing, emails need to be answered, and you need to watch an episode before going to bed. The next morning, you check your social media as a regular ritual and promise yourself that you will go to bed earlier tonight. But you don't. The brain is designed to keep us alive and reproduce. In our digital age, it is easy to get both affirmation and needs met with just a few clicks. But with every click, scroll, and purchase, our brains want more, and it becomes harder and harder to put down our screens. Why is this? And what can we do about it? Join us as a doctor, brain scientist and neurotechnologist,Benjamin Svejgaardexplains why the brain is so vulnerable to digital temptations - and what you can do to hack yourself into better brain habits. The event is part of Folkeuniversitetet's knowledge festival Hearts & Minds. Find the full programhere.
