If your child is in 0th-3rd grade and you are either about to start reading for the first time or have stalled a bit with the joy of reading, then this afternoon might be something for you. Children's librarian Tanja gives good advice for reading in primary school, and among other things, discusses:Why is reading important? How do you start reading? What does 20 minutes a day mean? Reading pleasure or reading obligation? Motivation and routines Inspiration for choosing books There are no raised fingers here, but room for doubt and wonder and tips on how to jump over the lowest hurdles in a busy everyday life.
