Give yourself a break and a moment for reflection when Kris from Følsomt Broderi visits Hillerød Library and invites you inside his sensitive text universe. Based on a common theme, Kris guides you through a poetic and textural experience. Get into gear and learn to embroider texts freehand and find your own poetic expression. You don't need to know how to embroider beforehand - there will be an introduction to embroidery and guidance along the way. There will also be a writing exercise along the way so you know what to embroider. Along the way, Kris will talk about Sensitive Embroidery, about the work of expressing oneself emotionally through needle and thread, and anecdotes from life with embroidery based on Kris' new book with works from Sensitive Embroidery from 2022-2026. There will also be reading aloud along the way, so you can have peace and quiet to immerse yourself in the needlework. The price includes embroidery materials that you can take home with you afterwards.
