Help document the city's history Albertslund was originally built around the 4 villages and Roskildevej, but development really took off when the city was expanded from the 1960 s. On the website we are well underway in telling you about the development of the city. Under "History" you will find descriptions of the original villages, including the history of the farms - in Risby also the houses. Roskildevej has been described with short stories about the houses along the road - and Roskilde Kro is thoroughly described. In the spring we had a meeting about the shops in Albertslund Centrum. Since there were many interested parties, we will follow up in the autumn. But we are also slowly starting to describe the residential areas in the city. Here we also need help to make it more alive and authentic. Maybe you have some stories about the villages, Roskildevej, the residential areas or Albertslund Centrum that we can convey.
