The Heartbeat - a musical lecture that creates debate about intimate partner violence. How can you end up in a violent relationship - and how do you get out of it? The musical lecture Hjertebanken highlights the topic of intimate partner violence through a strong personal story and captivating music. After seven years as a singer and lecturer abroad, Hanne Rethore Laursen is now bringing Hjertebanken home to Denmark. The lecture has previously attracted great attention and created significant debates on a topic that too often remains invisible. It is a combination of storytelling and music. Ten songs - both well-known classics and Hannes' own original compositions - are woven into the lecture, giving the audience both an emotional and intellectual experience.
