On Saturday, October 3, 2026, up to 150 amateur jazz musicians and several hundred audience members will gather at Maltfabrikken in Ebeltoft as Jazz på Djurzz celebrates its 5th anniversary Jazz at Djurzz is the only jazz festival in Djursland and Central Jutland dedicated to amateur jazz music In just a few years, the festival has grown into one of the largest gathering places for amateur jazz in East Jutland—and this anniversary year, which also marks the 100th anniversary of jazz in Denmark, features both new initiatives and a few surprises As a new addition, the festival is expanding this year to include “Jazz at Djurzz – Rising Stars.” This initiative shines a spotlight on the very young, up-and-coming, and experimental jazz scene to bridge the gap between generations.
