In 2023, the trio was nominated for the prestigious German award Deutscher Jazz Preis in the category "Instrumental Album of the Year" The following year, Christina Dahl received the honor "Inspirator of the Year" from the Beckett Foundation in connection with the Tivoli Jazz Prize - Jazz Danmark. When Christina Dahl Trio meets, a musical space is created where three strong artistic voices merge into one living expression. The trio consists of three distinctive personalities who together create an original and sensual universe where composition and improvisation are inextricably woven together. With open curiosity and courage, the trio embarks on an adventure into the unknown, making room for both the fragile and the wildly growing. The music breathes a rich spectrum of sounds - from the simple, lyrical and almost whispering to dense pulsating movements and melodic layers.
