Do songs about harvest and rolling grain take on a different meaning when they are sung in the middle of the landscape they are about, with a view of modern agricultural machinery? Experience a choir concert in special surroundings when the Nordglød Chamber Choir and farmer Søren Madsen at Sallerupgård invite you to a sensual concert experience about agriculture and landscape. Sing along to a community song and listen to classical and modern choral works in the engine house in the middle of an active, organic farm in the beautiful landscape of Avnø Fjord. Start the afternoon with a tour of the landscape by the fjord and a good opportunity to greet the cows and enjoy coffee, cake or a glass of wine from 1 pm, before the concert with Nordglød starts at 3 pm. Everyone can join in as we sing along to the Danish landscape with a selection of well-known community songs from the High School Songbook. During the concert, Søren Madsen talks about life as a modern farmer on a large organic farm with dairy cattle.
