Lecture about the Tøsedrengene by music mediator Thomas Ulrik Larsen It was at the turn of the year 1985/86 that one of Danish rock's greatest successes dissolved itself after several years of dominating the Danish charts and venues with a unique and fresh mix of Nordic tone and Caribbean rhythms. The lads, who consisted of a plumber, a music teacher, two journalists, a postman, an eminent sound engineer and what the press called "a dark-skinned Barbadian beauty", brought 70 s fusion music into the 80 s and released six albums that were bothcomplex, accessible and raw.
