Get an introduction to the function of the intestine, the most common disorders - and what you can do yourself to have a healthy, well-functioning intestine. Our gut system is crucial to our lives and well-being, yet it's an area we rarely talk about. However, in recent years, research has highlighted how important a healthy gut is - for both physical and mental well-being. In this lecture, Mette Borre, clinical dietitian at Aarhus University, will take you through the intestines from end to end. The evening provides knowledge, practical advice and new perspectives on an otherwise taboo area. Mette is a clinical dietitian at Aarhus University Hospital's Department of Gastrointestinal Diseases. She is the author and co-author of a number of textbooks and three books about the special intestinal diet Low Fod Map Diet. - Date: 5 October 2026 - Time: 19:00–21:00 - Venue: Dokk1/Aarhus Hovedbibliotek - Address: Hack Kampmanns Plads 2, Aarhus C, Denmark - Admission: From DKK 150
