Creativity evening with craft psychology and wrapping tests

Experience the health-promoting effects of handwork and learn how manual labor can calm the mind and make us better at meditation. Line Beck Rasmussen, certified in craft psychology, introduces the beneficial effects that needlework and craftsmanship have on our health and well-being, including our ability to immerse ourselves. Throughout the evening we will make both our own and shared winding samples and thus test the theories in practice. A winding sample is a small picture built up of yarn threads that are wound around a plate. It can be both a creative tool for seeing how colors play together for, for example, a knitting project, but can also be a work in itself, where the process is just as important as the finished result.
