Iconic Kurdish singer Aynur has used her moving voice and rare musicality to bridge deep-rooted traditions and modern, global sounds for decades. Her personal and relevant take on Kurdish folk music resonates far beyond national borders and now she is ready to take over Copenhagen. We are honored to be able to present the beloved singer when she takes over Amager Bio in November in collaboration with ALICE. The concert is seated and takes place in Amager Bio's concert hall. Over the course of her 25-year career, Aynur Dogan has reshaped the musical landscape by blending the deep-rooted traditions of Kurdish folk music with modern Western sounds.
