You will receive materials to sew a coffee mat (coaster, untersetzer - dear child has many names), which you can place under your beautiful ceramic cups when you want to drink coffee or tea. Once you've learned the technique, you can easily sew more coffee patches at home from small fabric scraps - or expand the concept to pillows, wall hangings or visible mending of clothing! You don't need to be able to embroider - we use the simplest stitches.
