The audience will have the opportunity to meet Thomas Buttenschøn without any kind of filter in music, singing and storytelling."Now I Scream in Silence" is a harsh tale of an upbringing that few would make it through unscathed. A story about losing both of your parents, about being the only dark person in a white schoolyard, and about being HIV-positive - being the one the others wouldn't touch. All told with the special Buttenschønske poetry, which is at once everyday and at the same time deeper than deep. It's a necessary story about feeling different and trying to fit in. About marginalization, pain, loss, systematic racism, and survival.
