Introduction to tin casting with hands-on exercises in melting, casting and finishing. Min. 16 years. Max 12 participants The workshop introduces basic techniques in pewter casting. Participants work hands-on with the process from melting to casting and subsequent processing on a small scale. The emphasis is on experiencing the material-specific properties of tin and seeing how small changes in the work process affect the finished expression. The course is calm and suitable for those who want an insight into the craft behind transforming liquid metal into simple, handmade objects.
