Gain insight into ADD/ADHD in adults at this lecture with Jens Brejnrod and Helle Holmen. Hear about the diagnosis, everyday life and the path to greater understanding. Over the past 20 years, the number of adults diagnosed with ADD/ADHD has increased dramatically. There has been a growing recognition that a wide range of challenges in coping with everyday life can be due to this diagnosis. Jens Brejnrod, who has been holding courses and guiding adults with an ADD/ADHD diagnosis for the past 15 years, has, through teaching and individual conversations, gained insight into the many different, but also common, expressions that the diagnosis has. When you talk to people who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, you will very often hear them say, “I have always felt different.” But what is this about? What is this "difference", and how is it experienced both from within and from the outside world? What can be changed for the better, and what must one learn to live with? - Date: 1 October 2026 - Time: 19:00–21:00 - Venue: Dokk1/Aarhus Hovedbibliotek - Address: Hack Kampmanns Plads 2, Aarhus C, Denmark - Admission: From DKK 200
