Do you also have a closet full of clothes that you don't wear, but that you don't want to throw away? The little detail that needs to be changed to make it fit you perfectly. Maybe it needs to be more personal with embroidery, buttons or special stitching? We start a Upcycling cafe- a network for everyone who wants to transform their old clothes into new favorites. What:We sew, cut, knit, patch and inspire each other. Who:Both beginners and experienced sewing enthusiasts are welcome. Why:To reduce clothing waste and create a cozy, creative space - with a lot of knowledge sharing and community. Take your forgotten textiles and your good mood under your arm. We will provide coffee on the pot and lots of sharing ideas. We currently have 2 sewing machines, an overlocker, an embroidery machine, lots of sewing equipment and table space. You must bring your own extra fabrics, zippers, buttons, etc. The network will start with only sewing your own projects, but can eventually be expanded to help others.
