This year marks 80 years since Tove Jansson published her second novel, 'The Comet Comes', in her world-famous Moomin series. At Culture Night we celebrate the anniversary and the magical Moomin universe with fun activities, music and a creative workshop. How does it sound when Moomintroll wanders through the dark forest, visits the Hemulen in the middle of cleaning, and finally comes home to Moomintroll to throw a party? Composer and music teacher Maria Arevad offers her take on this musical reading event. Maria and saxophonist Ronan Perrett read aloud and play music for the picture book 'Moomin, Mymlin and Little My - what happens next?', which is written and illustrated by Tove Jansson and translated into Danish by Marianne Iben Hansen After the reading, Maria facilitates a cozy and fun jam session, where anyone who wants to can play along. For children 3-6 years old.
