On the occasion of the campaign #Forbundte Bøger, Aarhus Libraries invites you to a session that focuses on censorship, book bans, freedom of expression, democracy and participation. The ambition is to expand and challenge students' understanding of censorship and freedom of expression, bringing their own opinions into play along the way. Through disagreement training, practical exercises and open conversations, students will strengthen their critical thinking and empathetic reflection. The session is for school classes at upper secondary level. NOTE: One ticket is valid for an entire class. There is room for 3 classes, and the session is open to all grades at the high school level. We recommend that students have had a brief refresher on the concept of freedom of expression beforehand.
