Live communication at Lodbjerg Lighthouse

An area full of stories. One of the main attractions in Thy National Park is Lodbjerg Lighthouse, which lies lonely in the middle of a large heath and plantation area. The lighthouse was built in 1883 and lit for the first time on November 28, 1884. The lighthouse is 35 meters high, and the light has a height of 48 meters above the sea. The lighthouse and the surrounding area hold many exciting stories. Some of them are told by volunteer lighthouse keepers on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm during selected periods throughout the year. The lighthouse hosts are ready to tell you a story about the lighthouse or answer questions, and at 11:30 a.m. they invite guests on a short tour of the area. They will usually be found in the yard.
