We open 'Witch Days' in October with a deep insight into the Køge House Cross processes Even though it has been more than 400 years since Køge Huskors took place, the eerie witch trials are still alive in the city's collective consciousness, and we still ask each other how it could have gone so wrong. Archivist Anette Månsson is behind the exhibition BESAT at Køge Museum, which attempts to capture the atmosphere in the city leading up to the witch hunt. There was simply not enough space on the exhibition boards for all the new knowledge that came up in one day during the research for the exhibition. So it is a well-prepared archivist who can tell surprising and insightful details from Køge's past. In the lecture we will follow the hunt for the devil from the Square to Bygårdsstræde and from the priest's residence to the king's castle.
