Do you long for a respite where pain and thoughts occupy less space? Participate in a relaxing workshop where you will find peace & contemplation through creating something with simple creative techniques. You don't need any experience. Everyone can join. Give your brain a break and your hands something meaningful to do. When you live with chronic pain, it can be difficult to find moments when your body and mind are allowed to relax. In this workshop we work with macramé, a creative technique where you tie ropes and cords into beautiful and useful products. It's not about performing or being creative in advance. It's about giving yourself time for presence, calm and contemplation. Many find that the repetitive movements and focus on the creative process help them take their minds off worries, stress and pain for a while. The workshop is therefore held at a leisurely pace with room for breaks and individual needs.
