In collaboration with Brasserie Gazzværket, Aabenraa Live invites you to a special Dinner & Artist Talk on October 6, 2026, where we pay tribute to Marie Frank's unique album Ancient Pleasures. With songs like "Symptom Of My Time", "Save A Little Love" and "Under The Water", Marie Frank broke through the sound barrier and left a significant mark on Danish pop music. The album was the start of a major breakthrough and cemented her as one of the country's most personal and original songwriters. This evening we take the audience on a musical journey through the career, the songs and the stories behind GAFFA's long-time critic Finn P. Madsen meets Marie Frank in a lively conversation about the breakthrough, the anecdotes and life as an artist for more than 25 years. It will be the story of a songwriter who has gone his own way and created a very special position in Danish music.
