Playing original, modern jazz in a minimalist and Nordic sounding sound universe. The trio currently consists of Frede Holger on piano, Martin Brunbjerg on double bass and Jesper Lørup on drums In 2022, Kosmos Trio released their debut album "Brev til en ven" through April Records, which received good reviews from both national and international jazz magazines. In 2023, Kosmos Trio won the Jazz Danmark jazz competition, where the jury justified it with the words:"Tonight's winner takes the audience into a detailed universe, where they exploit the format and their instruments with a maturity in composition and interaction.
