About this event

What to know

Take a break We spend about a third of our lives sleeping, and yet 46% of Danes struggle with sleep problems in their daily lives. But why can it be so hard to fall asleep? And what can we do about it? Put on some comfortable clothes and make yourself comfortable while the professor of health psychology Bobby Zachariefrom Aarhus University guides you into a state of rest. Based on the latest research on sleep, you’ll learn more about what makes for a good night’s sleep. When have we actually had enough sleep? How important are our habits? And how can sound affect our sleep? The event begins with an inspiring talk, after which you’re invited to slow down and feel your body settle into a state of calm. Here, you’ll find space to let go without that all-too-familiar, lurking sense of guilt that sets in when the world outside keeps on rushing by. Instead, you are invited to explore what you can do to achieve better sleep and a deeper sense of calm. We'll provide sleeping pads.
