How does the food from your hometown taste? Come and taste food from all over the world when Albertslund's Neighborhood Mothers and other food enthusiasts share samples and stories In Albertslund there are over 100 different nationalities and at least as many food cultures. At the event, Albertslund's Neighborhood Mothers and other food enthusiasts will talk about their hometown food and hand out samples. You can also help share your hometown food with others - write to Ditte Nesdam-Madsen at ddt@albertslund.dk if you want to help cook. With this event, we are warming up for the literature festival Avisen Live on October 24, where the Syrian-Kurdish author Jan Pêt Khorto will perform with poetry about his hometown food. - Date: 14 October 2026 - Time: 17:30–19:00 - Venue: Albertslund Bibliotek - Address: Bibliotekstorvet 2, Albertslund, Denmark - Admission: Free
