Quiet mornings with literature, community and space for baby Are you on maternity leave and would you like to join a newly started book club? So grab your baby and book and come down to Kalundborg Library! We will meet for the first time on Thursday, September 10th at 9:30 am. Registration is required. We read short novels, short stories and poems, which we choose in consultation at the first meeting, so that the mornings are shaped according to the group's interests and curiosity. However, we have chosen the first book:Stine Pilgaard's "Meters per second"It should be read at the first meeting. In the book club, we meet four mornings in the fall and share thoughts, experiences and a love of reading - in a crowd that is manageable with young children. The book club is facilitated by two cultural mediators, Malene & Hanne-Mette - who are themselves parents of young children - they will guide the conversations and create a safe and open space for literary conversations. - Date: 8 October 2026 - Time: 09:30–11:00 - Venue: Kalundborg Bibliotek og Borgerservice - Address: Klostertorvet 2, Kalundborg, Denmark - Admission: Free
