What to know

A cup of coffee and a lot of good conversations about books. Every Monday from 15-16:00 the Book Café at Odense Main Library is open It will be a pleasant hour where everyone is welcome to show up and talk about literature with others. You don't need to prepare, other than having the desire to talk about books in a group. And whether you are 20 or 70 years old doesn't matter. The content of the cafe will be mixed. We will always take a round where we, for example, talk about the book we are currently reading, the best book we have read, the worst book we have read, our favorite author, the book that has made the biggest impression on us. Sometimes we will also be visited by a local author, a local publisher, a book blogger, or we will subject each other to a guided shared reading. All in all, the literary ceiling will be high. You don't need to sign up. Just show up on the 3rd floor of the Main Library. You are welcome to join us whenever you have the time or inclination.
