What to know

This course takes place over a weekend - both days the meeting times are 10 am-4 pm. We begin the course with a review of different materials, so you have a good basis for choosing the right one for your bra. Then we look at sewn models to get a feel for what you might want to sew. Once you have chosen the model and materials, the actual work begins. You start by drawing your pattern, cutting out the model in the chosen materials, and then you start sewing. A prerequisite for a good result is that you are familiar with your sewing machine and that it is in usable condition. Along the way, relevant techniques such as sewing on elastic, tube bands, etc. will be taught, depending on what is needed.
