Niels Krause-Kjær takes the audience on a personal and socio-historical journey into Denmark's wrestling era Based on his novel "Outside the Country" (August 2025), he opens with the story of a country where the peasant community disappeared in a few decades, the big city became the ideal, and the province became the loser in a new cultural reality. The novel is fiction, but is based on a real travelogue that Krause-Kjær found in the National Archives - written by his father and his college friends over half a century. It became the starting point for a story about dreams, disappointments and a culture in disintegration. With warmth, insight and storytelling joy, Niels Krause-Kjær shares reflections on heritage, identity, culture and the shifts that have shaped the Denmark we know today.
