What to know

There is legal aid at Ringsted Library on Thursdays in odd weeks from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Note: We have changed the time for issuing issues. Issues are issued from 3:30 PM. You can get free, anonymous legal advice at the library. The legal aid is open to everyone regardless of financial circumstances and you must show up in person. The lawyer can help 9 citizens in the time period from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This means that we will provide 9 numbers. The numbers will be provided from 3:30 p.m. and on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if there are available numbers, they will not be provided after 4:30 p.m. You cannot expect the lawyer to go into your case in depth in the time available. The lawyer's legal aid is a kind of legal emergency room where you can get oral legal first aid. For example, you can get answers to the most common personal legal questions about divorce, custody, real estate, renting a home, inheritance and compensation.
