Classical Listening Club - Wagner's "The Ring"

Step into a full day of opera! Composer Richard Wagner created the largest and most important opera cycle in music history, "The Ring of the Nibelung." It consists of four love and doomsday operas: "Die Rheingold," "The Valkyrie," "Sigfried," and "Ragnarok" - a total of approximately 24 hours of opera. Is it possible to boil down so many hours of opera to a review of a mere hour and a half? We will attempt to do so at tonight's classical listening club, where we will listen to and talk about the extensive works. Everyone is welcome, even if you know nothing about Wagner or classical music.
