Workshop with visual artist and designer Linda Weimann - WORKSHOP 4

What to know

Based on the exhibition "The Ananke Way" by Linda Weimann, a series of workshops are held in Agerupgård's green space, where children gain insight into the world of sculpture through various modeling and impression methods. We work with an open and curious process, where the material brings new ideas forward - from thought to reality. The children will learn classical design and casting based on nature's geometry, structures and surfaces. We work with clay, plaster and natural materials. Linda Weimann is a trained designer and craftswoman. She grew up on Samsø and recently moved back to the island. She has facilitated sculpture workshops for children for many years. PLASTER SCULPTURES: IMPRESSIONS, IMPRESSIONS & EXPRESSIONSWorkshop 1: Thursday, September 10th, 2-5 pm We experiment with impressions and textures in clay. Reliefs with natural materials are built up through depth and detail. Workshop 2: Thursday 17.9. 2-5 pm Plaster casts in negative and positive form - we mix plaster and take 1:1 impressions. Workshop 3: Thursday 24.9.
