Listen and enjoy: LGBT+ literature

What to know

A guided reading of LGBT+ literature in a cozy and spacious community, where we focus on literature where the main characters have experiences across the entire LGBT+ spectrum! For guided shared reading, reading guides Ditte and Ester bring 1-2 texts. It could be a short story, a poem, an excerpt from a novel, or a graphic novel. One of the literary guides will read aloud, and you can read along in the printed text if you like. During the reading, there will be breaks where we talk about the thoughts the text triggers in us. There is no pressure to participate in the conversation - it is also completely OK if you need to just listen. Come as you are! There is an opportunity to take a break along the way if you need to, and you are also welcome to bring knitting or crocheting items, fidget toys or anything else you can do with your hands while you listen. The event does not require registration, just show up at 3:30 PM at the library entrance by the Library Garden/library café.
