Lecture: Radiation therapy for skin cancer: An overlooked disease and an overlooked treatment

You are invited to an exciting lecture evening on September 29th about radiation treatment of skin cancer. Common skin cancer or non-melanoma skin cancer (basal cell cancer and squamous cell cancer) is the most common form of cancer in Denmark, and most people probably know someone who has had it. Common skin cancer now affects one in five Danes. The evening begins with how the disease is detected and when surgery is the first choice. The main emphasis is then placed on radiotherapy, which is a key alternative when surgery is not the obvious choice.
