About this event

What to know

Time: October 6, 2026 at 6:00 PM-9:00 PM. Location: Copenhagen Sexology School, Kompagnistræde 22, 1208 Copenhagen K This workshop invites you to explore the depths of shame and guilt and understand the difference between "I am wrong" and "I have done something wrong that is not consistent with the person I want to be". American psychologist Brené Brown, who has researched the topic of shame for years, says:To build resilience to shame, four key elements are important:1. The ability to remain authentic during shame experiences.2. A commitment to navigate shame without compromising our values.3. To emerge from the experience with greater compassion and connection than before.4. To move from shame to compassion for yourself, recognizing that shame cannot survive when it comes to light and is met with compassion and understanding. In this workshop we will also explore practical steps to move through shame with self-compassion. Shame is a social wound that requires social healing. - Date: 6 October 2026 - Time: 18:00–21:00 - Venue: Copenhagen Sexology School - Address: Kompagnistræde 22B, Copenhagen K, Denmark - Admission: From DKK 300
