About this event

What to know

Come and hear Mette Borre, who has worked as a clinical dietitian at Aarhus University Hospital for more than 30 years with patients living with diseases throughout the gastrointestinal tract. Neither diet, supplements nor physical activity can cure prostate cancer. Conversely, lifestyle is crucial for the development of prostate cancer, and therefore a healthy lifestyle is important to follow when you are affected by the disease. Healthy eating habits and physical activity have also been shown to be positive for quality of life and the body's general well-being. The best advice is therefore simple: eat a varied diet, be physically active and avoid special diets. Mette Borre is co-author of the publication Nutrition and physical activity in prostate cancer - you can find it here:4200 08.02.2021, DK-NPS-0221-00002 Diet brochure prostate patients PROPA Feb 2021 A 5.indd. - Date: 30 September 2026 - Time: 18:30–20:30 - Venue: Esbjerg Hovedbibliotek - Address: Nørregade 19, Esbjerg, Denmark
